OCT and Data Matrix conducted a workshop on "Main Aspects of Clinical Trials from the Study Concept Development to the Final Report Preparation". This was the third workshop organized by OCT since 2013. The event took place at Sheraton Palace Hotel in Moscow on 27 February 2015 and attracted over 120 attendees from all biotech, pharma and CRO companies in Russia.

The event was not only an opportunity to learn about clinical trials, but also to see all friends from the Russian pharmaceutical industry.

The participants spent one full day discussing the main aspects of a successful clinical trial conduct:

  • Clinical trial planning: timelines, resources, and budget

with Irina Petrova, OCT Director of Clinical Operations, as a speaker
  • Basic approaches and new trends in medical writing

with Eugenia Radkova, Medical writer, as a speaker
  • General principles and new trends in data management

with Kristina Leus, CEO of Data Matrix, as a speaker
  • Biostatistical aspects of clinical trials

with Irina Bondareva, Biostatistician, as a speaker.

The seminar was a great opportunity for everyone to focus on all the main aspects of medical writing, study design and data management process. A great interest was raised by the medical writing and biostatistics discussion. Upon the completion of each speech, each participant had an opportunity to ask questions and obtain all the presentations.

If you were among the ones who could not participate in the Workshop, we would be glad to provide you with the all the materials. Please contact Anna Yanaeva to obtain presentations and the invite to our next Workshop!

See you at our next seminar in September!
