The GCP training was conducted by Maria Zaytseva, Head of the Quality Assurance department – effective speaker who has great expertise both as an auditor (Maria is a member of BARQA) and trainer for many multinational and Russian pharmaceutical companies, as well as the OCT team.
Good Clinical Practice (GCP) – is an international ethical and scientific quality standard for designing, conducting, recording and reporting trials that involve the participation of human subjects. GCP is the key requirement for anyone involved in the conduct of clinical trials. That is why OCT pays much attention to our team training and development.
The second part of the day was designed to motivate people to pool their knowledge about the history of Saint Petersburg. The main goal of the quest was to encourage teamwork and creativity. Some of the tasks required attentiveness to the cultural artifacts which are abundant in the city center, while others drew on sense of humor (e.g. create a title for the drug that would be treating pain in the right knee). The fastest, most creative, original and innovative teams were chosen at the end of the quest and got different memorable presents. A large and comfortable riverboat with panoramic windows was a good place for OCT team to relax and enjoy live jazz concert and impressive Saint Petersburg sights.
Annual corporate events and trainings are indispensable part of our life at OCT. Teambuilding is a great chance to improve morale and leadership skills, as well as communication through the construct of common goals. If we want to make our business better or to foster a sense of collaboration between employees the corporate event allows us to achieve these results. Now OCT Team is getting ready for another important date – next year, we are celebrating our 10th birthday! See you!
