New Project Manager Joins OCT

Vladimir Ionov joined OCT-Clinical Trials in Central and Eastern Europe staff in February 2012 as a Project manager responsible for new projects implementations, trainings, communication with sponsoring companies and coordinating of clinical teams activities.

Vladimir Ionov joined OCT-Clinical Trials in Central and Eastern Europe staff in February 2012 as a Project manager responsible for new projects implementations, trainings, communication with sponsoring companies and coordinating of clinical teams activities. Vladimir completed his masters degree at St. Petersburg State Chemical-Pharmaceutical Academy. After graduation he worked as pharmaceutical representative and a CRA at another CRO operating in CEE and Russia. He has attended Russian Ministry of Health GLP, GCP and Pharmacovigilance postgraduate courses and has all the corresponding certificates. During his 5 years in clinical trials industry Vladimir has been involved in global cardiology studies as well as local gynecology, neurology, dermatology, cardiology, oncology, pediatric and bioequivalence studies.

Vladimir already has strong knowledge of clinical research industry and extensive experience in clinical project management, having worked for several years for pharmaceutical company STADA CIS prior to joining OCT. As a project manager at OCT, Vladimir Ionov is responsible for clinical projects management including budgeting, start-up activities, vendor selection, sites` selection and monitoring, staff training and assessment, study documents review and preparation, communication with clients and coordinating of clinical teams` activities.
