The Ministry of Health of Russia approved 2 new studies in hemorrhoids

OCT has obtained regulatory approval for the phase III study in hemorrhoids in Russia.  

These are multicenter, randomized phase III studies, the primary goal of which is to evaluate the efficacy of the study medicine vs. active comparator.

The treatment period for both studies is 14 days. The first study will be conducted with suppository therapy and has a recruitment target of 120 female and male patients older than 18 years old. For the second study with rectal crème treatment it is planned to enroll 192 patients.

Within this project, OCT team is responsible for a scope of services including site selection, project management, data management, clinical and medical monitoring and final report preparation.
