Head of office, Latvia/Project Manager
Martins Zuteris joined OCT in May 2008. He is responsible for managing office in Riga, beautiful capital of Latvia. Martins is responsible for covering activities not only in Latvia, but also in other two Baltic states – Estonia and Lithuania. Martins works as project manager of various clinical trials (phase I-III) performed by OCT in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Martins has over 7 years experience in clinical research.
Martins holds a degree in medicine from Academy of Medicine of Latvia. After graduation he worked as a Chief of Planning and International Cooperation Department in Emergency and Disaster Medicine Centre, Ministry of Health of Latvia. During this time he developed his manager and strategic planner skills. As notice to that he was appointed for 3 years as Latvian representative in NATO Joint Medical Committee.
Martin’s clinical trial experience started with joining Quintiles at 2004. At OCT Martins started as a senior CRA, he was promoted to PM position shortly afterwards. Martins have worked with many IMP from various stages of development, including doument preparation, coordination and participation for EMA Scientific Advice procedure. Martins has broad experience in cardiology and oncology.
