Project manager of clinical trials
As a project manager, Evgeniy Chizhikov is responsible for management of local and international phase II-IV clinical trials in different therapeutic areas including, but not limited to, oncology, gastroenterology, cardiology, urology, surgery, endocrinology and inflammatory diseases. Evgeniy has experience in setup of new just opened departments at pharmaceutical companies where he was responsible for start-up activities of clinical research services such as creation of SOPs, contract templates, interviewing CRAs, selection and collaboration with new vendors, etc.
Evgeniy started his work in clinical research industry as investigator at State scientific oncology center in 2005. Prior to joining OCT he worked as a CRA and Lead CRA for a global CRO Icon Clinical Research where he was involved in international trials. Evgeny has also worked for Abbott Laboratories and Materia Medica where he held a project manager position and was responsible for clinical trials in Russia and CIS. He has a good expertise in clinical research industry: over 3 years at a monitoring position and more than 3 years as a project manager. Evgeniy is experienced in protocol design development, study submission process, mentoring of new CRAs, organization of investigators meetings, clinical trials management from early startup till closeout, preparing comprehensive project plans etc. Evgeniy is experienced, proactive, and responsive to our clients' needs.
At the moment, Evgeniy is involved in several projects with one of OCT’s key clients. He is responsible for communication between sponsor and OCT, coordination of sponsor departments involved in clinical research process, protocol development, clinical trial dossier collection and submission.
Evgeniy graduated from Siberian State Medical University in 2003. He is a doctor of medicine and certified oncologist.
